For years Blue Moon was a mainstay in West Nashville, with its waterfront dining and laid-back, island-esque attitude. Local restaurateurs and business partners have joined together to create an all-new waterfront experience.
The old Blue Moon literally washed down the Cumberland during the May 2010 floods. In the five years since that happened, the Rock Harbor phones have been inundated with calls asking when this local institution will open its doors again. Finally, an answer: The new Blue Moon Waterfront Grille is open.
The reborn Blue Moon is casual, but the overall ambience is second to none. Patrons walk onto a floating barge and follow the dock to enter the restaurant. The famous grit cakes are must have appetizers.
